Mary Smith

Mary Ann Smith “Turtle”, 67, of Billings, passed away at home on the morning of Saturday, July 22, 2017. She was born January 20, 1950 in Billings, the daughter of Willard P. and Patricia (Cunneen) Smith. She attended Billings Catholic Schools, graduating from Billings Central in 1968. Turtle as she was lovingly known, worked for Holiday Inn/Radisson Hotel, for forty plus years starting in 1972 until her untimely death. She was very devoted to her family. She enjoyed lots of quality time with her family and friends near and far. The love for her family was so strong, if someone called for help she would often times go without in order to help those in need. She was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 6774 for years. She also had a huge collection of turtles! “Turtle, you will always and forever be in our hearts.” “Fly with the Angels and we'll always leave a light on for you.” “Give a kiss to Papa from all of us!” Turtle is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by: Sister-in-law Carol F. Smith, Nephew Marty (Alicia) Smith, Niece Angela (Paul) Castro, Nephew Shawn (Tiffany) Smith, all of Billings and Nephew Toby Smith-Kruse of Dallas, TX., Great Nieces and Nephews that she called “her kids and babies” Payton, Jazmin, Mason, Teana, Ryan and Savana. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, along with her work family as well. Proceeded in death by her parents, three brothers Charles, Patrick “Willie” and Michael J. Smith. and a Nephew Patrick R. Smith. Service will be held Friday August 4, 2017 at 11:00am at Dahl Funeral Chapel
