Shirley was my sister/friend. We began our relationship in 1949 when we were in the fourth grade in Williams Elementary School, Williams, AZ. In the 8th grade Shirley came stay with our family and lived with us until we graduated from high school in 1960. We talked almost every week and shared the depth of our feelings, joys, sorrows and happiness as two women who loved our families and got so much pleasure from fixing up our homes, going "junkin" and talking about the seasonal changes we made to create country living environments. I'm thankful she is free from pain and respiratory suffering. It will be a long while before I get over not having her to call. Rest in peace darling friend. I know you are enjoying all those whom you've missed and loved. Say hi to our mom. I love you.
