Doris Spencer

Doris Spencer passed away the morning of June 19, 2013 in the care of her daughter, Delrose and her son, Allen. Doris was born to Warren and Margarette (Sager) Lloyd in Minnesota. She went to Wahkon High School where she met her husband of 68 years, Ellsworth (Spence) Spencer. During the depression Doris caught a huge Muskie in Cass Lake, Minnesota which Spence sold to keep food on the table that winter. In later years Doris was a talented china and toll painter. Doris had many beautiful flower beds in her yard and many passers by would stop to compliment her on her roses. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Spence, her one brother, Austin, and seven of her sisters, Keitha, Blanche, Mable, Violet, Velma, Fay, and Edith. She is survived by one sister, Marybell; her son, Allen (Becky) and his son, Paul; a daughter, Delrose (Erin) and their sons Brandon and Tyler. Doris will also be missed by four great granddaughters, Heather, Megan, Jennifer, and Brooke and four great great grandchildren, Mia, Emma, Tanner and Sophia. Memorial Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2913 at Parkhill Assembly of God (corner of 17th and Parkhill). Doris' ashes will be scattered with those of her husband on her son's ranch in the East Rosebud Valley.
