Obituary
Everyone loved August (Gus) Spinuzzi born March 31, 1920 in Pueblo, CO. Dad died of a stroke December 18,2010 in Billings, MT where he lived with Julie & Sam Trujillo, since 2005. Gus was youngest of 14 children to Salvatore and Julia Spinuzzi. He was proud of his heritage, plumbing, his service in the Navy, but mostly his family. He will be remembered for his humor, generosity, sweetness & determined attitude. He was preceded in death by his wife Audrey in 2007 and son Danny in 1992. Gus is survived by his daughter, Julie (Sam) Trujillo; grandchildren: Darin Davison & Family (WY), Marisha (Brandon) Talton & Family (CO), Camille (Justin) O'Connor (MT), who looked up to him as a fine example. Service: Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held.

We were saddened to see Gus's obituary in the Pueblo paper. We both loved Gus and have many good memories of him and Audrey. He was a family man who loved Audrey, Danny and Julie. He was a very good friend to Gene. He knew Gus since he was a child and Gus always treated him like a son. He will be in our hearts and in our prayers. Gene and Lita

Julie, I was sorry to hear about your dad and your mom too. They were both so proud of you and Danny. I have often thought of you, us at Big Blue School. Boots Vuklich died a few years ago as did Barbara Rozich Gibbs. Not sure if you remember Boots. I am getting ready to retire from Pueblo County Government Child Welfare.
