Obituary
Jay Ceril Stanger, our beloved husband, father and grandfather was called home March 12, 2016. He was born August 2, 1934 in Burley Idaho, the only boy in a family of three. After serving in the US Navy he married and had 5 wonderful children. Later he married Donna, who had six children, and together they had two daughters. Upon leaving the Navy Jay started a carpet laying business in San Diego. In 1982 he brought his family to Billings, MT and opened another carpet service, Jay's Magic Floors. He then added a second business, Jay's Pony Rides, which he truly enjoyed. Jay was a skilled craftsman who loved and valued hard work. This was his legacy to his children. He loved his Savior and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jay will always be remembered by all that met him for his big heart and generous nature. He is survived by his sister, Lola Gardiner Smith; 13 children, Sid Stanger, Doug (Donna) Stanger, Susan (Gary) Winget, Randy (Linda) Stanger, Kathleen (Barry) Brock, Taralynn (Mathew) Dene', Arthur (Renette) Goodrich, Marsha (Eric) McAllister, Cathy Park, Jess (Emily) Goodrich, Jennifer (Ron) Brannon, Jaci (Curtis) Sieler, and Glenna (Andrew) Maras; and 163 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
