Jacquelyn Swan

Jacquelyn Swan left this life on Sunday afternoon, April 25, 2010. She was born February 24 in Fonda, Iowa to Mary and Howard Swan. Her early years were spent in Creston, Iowa. In the late 1940s Jackie and her mother Mary moved to the Billings area, where she resided for the remainder of her life.Jackie was both a skilled typist and pianist for many years. She worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and managed their shop in downtown Phoenix. Later Jackie made a career change and worked for the Social Security Administration, traveling over a five-state area.Travel was a passion for Jackie. She and her mother traveled extensively in the U.S., as well as abroad. She had a special love for India and all things Indian.Jackie will be sorely missed by friends and family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary, and her grandparents, John and Agnes Mackey. She is survived by her husband, Don Bosco Louis of Billings; and an aunt Margaret Reilly of Fonda, Iowa.Funeral Services will be at noon Tuesday, April 27, at St. Patricks Co-Cathedral in Billings.
