Pat,Tim, Libby,Mike, Sarah and Johnny, We are all so sad at the passing of Hugh. His laugh,story-telling and jokes were so precious. Thankfully, he touched all of our lives and we are better for it. Thanks for sharing your dad with this nephew.

I moved to Billings in 1984 and purchased the home at 2445 Poly so your parents were my first Billings neighbors. We had many nice visits over the back fence. I'll always remember Hugh and his whistle. That first fall they gave me grapes from their back yard and a recipe for grape jelly. My sympathies to you.

I just thought the world of your Dad. He was so fun to be around and exuded such a warm spirit. He always seemed to be pleased to be exactly where he was and - even better - to be with exactly just the people in the room at that moment. Even if it was a friend's daughter that he saw maybe once every five years. They don't come better than Hugh and Mary Sweeney.

Please accept my condolences. My parents enjoyed their friendship with yours and shared a love of East Rosebud. Your Dad will be missed.
