Bonnie Taylor

Our sister Bonnie died suddenly on Wed July 25th and is now reunited with our mother, her best friend. She was 59 and died of natural causes. Bonnie was a dynamic, intelligent person who had a very quick wit and sense of humor. She was a lover of animals especially horses and dogs. Bonnie was born March 9, 1953 in Emmett Idaho to Joe and Orla Taylor who have preceded her in death. She was the third of 5 children. She is survived by her brothers Joe and Bob (Jan) of Billings, sister Pat of Marysville Washington and younger brother Mike (Chris) of New York, and multiple nieces and nephews. In 1964 the family relocated to Billings from Southern Idaho. Bonnie graduated from Billings West in 1971. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MSU, becoming a registered nurse. She married Mike Williams, another registered Nurse, BSNX2. The marriage ended in divorce. Bonnie worked at Billings Deaconess Hospital (Billings Clinic) for many years working in a variety of different aspects of nursing. While at the Billings Clinic she was an OR nurse on the open heart surgical team for several years, She then co-founded “Antique Rose Care Management”, providing personal care for patients in their homes. She had been recently offered a position at the Department of Corrections. Bonnie had many interests and passions. Her political interest in 1972 took her to Miami where she represented Montana as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention. She also had interests traveling, reading and enjoyed refurbishing furniture and several homes. Her true passions were her family and friends and her love of animals. The love animals came from years of working with a veterinary clinic. She especially loved horses and was an accomplished rider. She was looking forward to taking her three nieces from New York up to the Beartooths on a day ride and a trip to Yellowstone Park. Bonnie was a wonderful sister and dear friend. She will be deeply missed. Visitation: A public visitation will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Private family services will be held at a later date.
