Obituary

Marcia Ellen Tennant passed away on March 14, 2016 in Billings, MT. She was born June 8, 1966, in Butte, MT. She was the eighth of ten children born to Diane Stedman and Robert Hakala. Marcia received her formal education at Cecelia Hazelton Elementary and graduated from Broadwater High School in Townsend, MT. Out of high school she studied Cosmetology. In June 2008, Marcia married William “Bill” Tennant. Together they have five children. She loved fishing, camping, riding motorcycles and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Marcia also loved her dog, Trixie and her cat, Sylvester. She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters, Robin LaMere and Darla Hakala. She leaves to celebrate and cherish her memory her husband, Bill Tennant; two daughters, Desiree Boegli (Jesse) and Cortney Wogamen; three step-children, Tonia and Cassandra “Cas” Tennant and Victoria France (Eric) all of Billings, MT; eleven grandchildren; siblings, Danny Blackwood , Penny Hanzell (Dave), Tena Blackwood (Hilton), Lisa Hakala, twin sister, Mona Campbell (Russell) and Nancy Lofton (Nathan); brother-in-law, Pete LaMere; and a host of family and friends. A celebration of Marcia's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the Lion's Den.
