Obituary
Beverly “Joy” (Wolfe) Boche passed peacefully surrounded by family December 1, 2015. Joy was born March 8, 1938 in Billings, Montana to Lawrence and Fern Wolfe of Belfry, Montana. She grew up on the family farm raising crops and livestock. She attended school in Belfry and graduated as Salutatorian in 1956. Joy was active in 4-H, cheerleading, band, choir and helped write and compose the Belfry Bats fight song. After high school, Joy attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings for two years. After college, Joy moved to the Lander and Riverton area of central Wyoming. Joy married and raised 3 boys Morey, Brady “Joe,” Gary and one daughter Shauna who were the joy of her life. Joy worked in the medical field and later moved back to Montana to manage the Pollard Hotel in Red Lodge, Montana and later to Billings where she managed a furniture store and retired working in the medical field. Joy's greatest love was her family. She loved visiting, spending time with family-especially her grandchildren whom she adored, fishing, playing the piano, accordion, clarinet, book clubs, knitting and cooking. She also enjoyed a competitive game of pinochle, pool, bridge and scrabble. Joy is preceded in death by her loving parents of Belfry, MT Lawrence and Fern Wolfe, brother Rod Wolfe of Billings MT, sister Geraldine Bakich and brother- in -law Mily Bakich of Belfry MT, grandchildren Rachel and Casey of Houston TX. Survivors include brother Terry and his wife Linda Wolfe of Bozeman, Montana; sons Morey and wife Diane Boche of Riverton, WY; Brady “Joe” and wife Kristy Artery of Lander, WY; Gary and wife Shirley Boche of Houston, TX; daughter Shauna and husband Todd Denowh of Billings, MT. Grandchildren Courtland, Amy (Jordan), Justin (Katie Acker), Olivia, Jasen, Jacob, Ryan, Addelyn, Riley, and numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life with a reception following the service will be held Saturday December 5, 2015 at 1PM, at Dahl Funeral Chapel, 10 Yellowstone Ave. Billings MT 59101. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the American Heart Association. The family would like to express their gratitude to those guiding her comfort and care through her journey especially those at the Billings Clinic Heart Failure Program, Billings Clinic and St. John's Transitional Care Cottage.
