Adam Vandenbosch

Adam Kennedy Vandenbosch was my angel on earth. Despite a challenging upbringing, he persevered and became a man, husband, father, friend and law enforcement officer to be admired. Born on April 5, 1971, son of Karen Myers and Bill Vandenbosch, he and his younger sister Kara grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating from University of Arizona and working as both an accountant and an inner city police officer in Phoenix, he attained his lifelong goal of becoming an FBI agent. He married Cindy in his favorite place, Maui, HI and they began their life together in Billings, MT. As a father and a friend, he wanted nothing more than to protect and take care of those he loved. While seemingly serious and focused, he had a hilarious sense of humor and an enormously kind and warm heart. He spent hours playing tag in the pool with Tanner and Alexis, his son and daughter, and teaching them to ski on Red Lodge Mountain. His competitive side and perfectionist nature drove him to excel at anything he attempted. He became a phenomenal runner and shared his time running with Cindy and Keno, his beloved shepherd 'mutt'. While not a crazy dog lover, he welcomed 4 dogs into his home and spent time each morning and evening taking care of the eldest, ailing dog. In his career as an FBI agent, the city of Billings benefited by his non-wavering passion to help people and do what was 'right'. His internal moral compass and character encouraged those around him to be better. He cherished the friends he made at the Bureau and their daily coffee breaks. My angel on earth is now our angel in heaven. We hope and pray that he continues to watch over and love us from afar. We will love him always. Service: Services to honor his life will be at the Metra Pavilion on Friday, July 6 at 10 AM. A fund has been established under the Vandenbosch Family Fund at Wells Fargo and donations may be made in lieu of flowers. All proceeds will benefit his surviving children, Tanner & Alexis.
