Obituary
Jerome Harry Ward, 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Riverstone Hospice House in Billings, MT. Jerry was born on July 10, 1957 in Denver, CO to John William Ward and Audrey Elaine Downard. Jerry strived for success in everything he did and loved the simplicity of Montana life. He had a knack for fixing things and used this well in his nearly 30 years of working as an airline mechanic and later working on school buses. Aviation, fishing, leatherwork and reading were just a few of his passions. Jerry was known for being kind and jovial, always willing to help anyone who he might pass by. Jerry is survived by his two sisters, Nancy Musser and Pat Livingood; three children, Melissa Dick, Jennilee Halliday and Justin Ward; six grandchildren; and many others who loved him dearly. A viewing will be held briefly on Saturday, November 10 from 9:30am to 10:15am prior to his funeral service, which will begin at 10:30am at Dahl Funeral Chapel located at 10 Yellowstone Ave, Billings, MT. Burial will then occur at the Rexburg Cemetery in Rexburg, Idaho on Monday, November 12, 2018.
