Obituary
Gary Warren passed away June 19, 2014 at Billings Clinic surrounded by his family. He was born January 2, 1958 to Howard and Ann Warren in Butte, MT. Gary graduated from Butte High School in 1976. He met the love of his life Nancy Reid at the tender age of eleven. They were married in January of 1976. Together they shared 38 years of life, setting an example of love, devotion and respect to all those around them. Gary served in the U.S. Army before settling in Billings where he and Nancy raised their three children. He worked at Selover Buick as a mechanic before returning to school and earning his B.S. Degree in Biology/Chemistry with high honors at Eastern Montana College. Gary then began his career at Energy Laboratories Inc. as an Analytical Chemist and worked his way up to being a co-manager of the company. Gary was fortunate to have a job he truly loved and considered the people he worked with to be his second family. Gary felt most at home being in the outdoors. He loved fishing, camping, hiking and four-wheeling with his family. They will always treasure the many memories and lessons that he imparted to them. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Ann and Howard Warren, his sister Judy Stewart, brothers Bob “Rowdy” Yates and Joe Warren. He is survived by his wife Nancy, children Joshua (Riley) Warren, Jeremy (Meredith) Warren and Jodi (James) Cranford, grandchildren, McKenna, Kaiden, Tristan and Caleb, sister Margie Warren-Irmen, brothers Bob Stewart and Ken (Sherry) Yates, and many sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Gary always held a special place in his heart for his niece Jennifer Tymofichuk. The family wishes to thank all of the wonderful nurses, doctors and support staff at the Cancer Center at Billings Clinic, and a special thanks to Cindy Frank who was truly a rock through this journey. A celebration of Gary's life will be held Saturday, June 28 at Harvest Church Heights Campus at 11:00 am. The family asks that in lieu of flowers you make a donation to the memorial of your choice.

God bless you Nancy and family my thoughts and prayers are with you all. You may not remember me but I worked at Garfield, Orchard and am now at Skyview. You made a wonderful impression on me. Your children are the best from school, Kings Hat and all. I enjoyed Gary's presentation at school. Your courage and strength will keep you all. Always Barb Gutierrez Bueno
