Kaycee Booth
April 10, 1981 - October 13, 2015
Obituary
Kaycee Noel Booth went to heaven on October 13, 2015. She was born in Casper, Wyoming on April 10, 1981 to Mary and Bill Booth. She attended various Billings area schools, graduating in 2000 from Skyview High School. Kaycee was a conqueror. Despite being born with a severe form of Spina Bifida, Kaycee lead an active lifestyle as a participant in the Eagle Mount ski and swimming programs. She was known for her ability to keep pace with her many cousins as the fastest crawler “west of the Mississippi.” Kaycee faced many obstacles in her life though she never let her disabilities hinder her love of life. She was determined to remain independent and often found creative ways to do everything on her own. In times of difficulty, Kaycee was the one bright light that brought joy and color to our lives. She will forever remain in our hearts. Kaycee was a wonderful caring person. She loved everyone. She always had a smile and a cute laugh, one that we will never forget. She had a big heart for animals, and loved going to the zoo. She loved arts and crafts, and watching TV and Movies. She was a bright beautiful girl, and had dreams of meeting Paul Walker, the San Diego Chargers football team, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Kaycee had a good sense of humor and a strong-willed determination not to let her physical condition define her; this optimism was inspiring for all around her. Her sweet spirit and unintimidating demeanor made her a comfortable person to be around. Kaycee had a knack for being able to relate to little children and animals. She almost always had a cat or dog curled up at the end of her bed. Kaycee had a childlike faith and knew she could pray in times of need. We trust that God has redeemed both her body and mind, and that she is now safe and sound in heaven with her mom. She will be missed by all who knew her. For the last four years, Kaycee called Autumn Care home. She moved in as a very timid, quiet young lady, though it was not long before she found her place. Kaycee quickly became a friend and sister to those around her, always helping others in anyway needed, from watching over others to helping out with cooking and housework or just hanging out and sharing her many talents. Kaycee is survived by her dad Bill (Linda), sister Codi (Sam) Martin, stepsister Melissa (Bryce) Tuengel, nieces Kayla, Amber, and Mary Martin, nieces Makayla and Maranda Dorr, and last but not least, her best friend Rob Luptak. Kaycee is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention as there is only so much paper in this world. Kaycee was preceded in death by her mother Mary, and Grandparents Ole (Bonnie) Ehli and Francis (Fern) Booth. Memorial Services will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel, Monday, October 19, at 1 pm.

To Kaycee's family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss but rejoice that she is now in the presence of our precious Lord and Savior and reunited with her mother, Mary, and her grandparents. Thank you for sharing her story. We moved to Washington from Billings when she was seven years old. I've often wondered how she was. I am so glad to hear that she had a very full life and was such a good friend to so many people and her pets. May God bless and keep you all in his grace and give you his peace especially during this time. Joan & Bob Krout, Silverdale, WA.

Since we were both into gaming we would sit in Kaycees room playing a variety of games from driving to fantasy, laughing hysterically as we tormented cops and seeing how long we would last as we tried to escape.

I remember Kaycee from Eagle Mount ski program. I was an instructor. She was spirited participant. I used to see her zipping around downtown and wondered why I had not seen her in a while. I'm sorry for your loss of a beautiful daughter.

I met Kaycee at Sam and Codi's wedding (I was a groomsman). It's hard to believe that that was nearly 20 years ago! I remember Kaycee that day as a very sweet young kid, and it seems she stayed true to that character all her life. I can see she holds a place of honor in many fond memories for very many people, and that is a true mark of a person who was a blessing to others in this world. May Kaycee be so blessed now in her new life.
