Don was a friend while he worked at Jake's He was a special person with a positive attitude and was good for a hug when a girl needed it. I have been and will be missing him for a long time....my sympathies to you and your family. He's gone to a better place and I pray that he will have the peace he so needed.... I knew Don before he moved to California when he was still in Chicago, and as far back as when he was attending College of DuPage. I heard of his passing from a mutual friend and I wanted to express my deepest condolences to his wife, his son, and his entire family. I am so sorry for your loss of Don at such a young age. I am so sorry to hear of Donnys passing, we were friends 30 or so years ago. Donny lived with my ex husband and kind of introduced Jim and I. We hadn't kept in touch, I am no sure if Jim and him did, but he made me laugh... one of the funnest persons I knew. RIP and prayers to you and your family. I am sorry you lost him so early. Jan Komp
