George Frank Wetstein of Billings, died July 9, 2015 at The Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls MT due to complications of a stroke he suffered mid March. He was born May 1, 1927 in Joliet MT to Elizabeth Hutzenbuhler Wetstein and Adam Wetstein, the middle child of 3 children. He attended school in the Joliet area until 1942 when the family moved to Billings. He graduated from Billings Senior High in 1944 and entered the Army August 7, 1945. He married Dorothy C. Moran May 5, 1951 at St. Patrick's. George started working at the Conoco Refinery December 1949 and retired October, 1981. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed bowling and dancing. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Ole Lunder, grandson Donnie Lunder (Kelly), sister, Dorothy Koch, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, Dorothy, sister Mary Ann Kaufman, brothers-in-law Ed Kaufman and Ed Koch, and grandchildren Christine and Dustin Lunder. Vigil and Rosary will be 6:30 pm Monday, July 20 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Mass will be noon Tuesday, July 21 at St. Patrick Co-Cathedral. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the staff at Dahl Funeral Chapel.
