Carlos Whittle

My sincere condolences to the entire Whittle clan, losing both parents in such short order. As a youngster, my family lived next door to the Whittles on Berg Ave. Jerry and Mary Ellen were always welcoming and it seemed like Mary Ellen always had cookies for the kids. Jerry was regarded as one of the coolest Dads on the block because he always seemed to have a neat motorcycle and gave many rides to the kids. As kids, we all spent many hours playing together, and climbing the tree in the front yard. I always have had admiration of both Jerry and Mary Ellen for what they accomplished.
