Wallace Wight

Wallace Edwin Wight, 83, born December 29,1933 in Laurel, Montana to Walter and Ingrid Wight (deceased) passed away on April 10, 2017. Wallace passed away in hospice care at St. Vincent's Hospital. He was a decorated Korean War Veteran and was discharged in 1957. In the early 60's he came to work on the Stovall farm and ranch. As much as he loved farming his true gift was working and building with iron. He spent 10 years in Washington working as a mechanic but came back to Montana with his family in 1977 to farm and create the many designs he was known for. Wallace is survived by his wife, Orlene (Stovall); children, Father Michael Mary Mercy of Christ Crucified Wight, Solt of Texas, Patrick (Natasha) Wight of Arizona, Teresa (Van) Hagestad of Billings, Timothy (Jami) Wight of Alaska, Mark (Nikki) Wight of South Dakota, John Wight of Colorado, Phyllis (Kyle) Porrett of Billings, Andrew Wight of Billings, Daniel (Dani) Wight of Alaska, Christopher (Megan) Wight of Billings and Heather (Jeron) Timmermans of Billings. Wallace was blessed with 38 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Wallace was also blessed with his sister Roberta (Gene) Smith; nieces, Roxanne Allen of Arizona and Cherie Dazell of Washington; nephew, Barry Williams of Washington. Through marriage he was also blessed with brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews from the Stovall family.
