Billie Williams

Billie G. Williams, 84, of Billings died Wednesday, January 3,2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital after a long battle with COPD. Billie, the son of Robert and Alma Williams and the 4th of nine children was born on November 4, 1933. Billie enjoyed fishing, baseball, bingo, stamp collecting, loved bluegrass music and spent many hours on cross-word puzzles. He traveled often, becoming an Arizona snowbird and visited his family in Kentucky many times. He was raised in Hazel, Kentucky on the family farm. At seventeen Billie left the farm joined the USAF as a firefighter and served for 10 years. In 1952, he met and married Gloria Perry and enjoyed a 48-year marriage with 2 children. After Gloria passed away, he married Diane Reichert in 2002. Billie and Diane enjoyed a 15-year marriage of traveling, bingo and spending time with grandchildren. Billie is survived by his wife Diane; two children, Debbie Olson and Steven (Lacey) Williams; step daughters Angela Reichert and Barbara Jalbert along with 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Robert and Rupert; and sisters, Ruby and Gail. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Paul, Jesse, Ralph and Warren. Rosary 10:30am,; Memorial Mass 11am.; Monday both at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Interment at a later date. Dahl Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
