Orville Zeeh

Orville L. Zeeh passed peacefully to his eternal home on January 26, 2013 in Billings, MT with family at his side. Orville was born on May 28, 1918 in Wauzeka, Wisconsin, to Albert and Nellie (nee Mary Blahna) Zeeh. He was raised in Wauzeka, where he graduated valedictorian of his high school class. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison and the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, graduating summa cum laude in 1940. He served in the U.S. Army for four years during and in months after WWII. He served in Europe and Japan. Orville married Minnie Kiosse in 1943. They raised four children and lived in various communities in Wisconsin and later Montana. Orville worked for the U.S. Soil Conservation Service after returning from the war. He retired as a Soil Conservation Agent in Montana in 1973. Orville is survived by his four children: Eileen (Lawrence) Landwehr, of Middleton, Wi., June Zeeh, of Middleton, Wi., William Zeeh of Billings, Mt. and Nancy Bell of Billings. He is also survived by grandchildren: Laura Weaver, Carl Breitweiser, Elizabeth Bell, Emily Bell and R. Benjamin Bell and one great grandchild, Garret Weaver. Orville was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Zeeh, his parents and his siblings, Lenor Zeeh and Ilene Stuckey. Service: Services will be held at Big Sky Bible Church, 383 East Alkali Creek Road, on Wednesday, January 30th at 11:00 a.m., graveside service following.
