Dale Zerr

Dale R. Zerr, 63, passed away at his home in Billings, MT on November 1, 2019. Dale was born in Langdon, ND on May 10, 1956 to Lawrence and Dorothy (Dosmann) Zerr. He attended school in Langdon and proudly served in the Navy from 1974-1975. He was employed with Mid Rivers Telephone in Circle, MT from 1994-2005 and SRT Telephone in Minot, ND from 2005-2018. In retirement he moved to Billings. Dale loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed carpentry. He was a friend to many and a stranger to none. Dale is survived by his wife, Gina, of 24 years ; daughter, Leigha Zerr of Belcourt, ND; son, Jody Zerr of Belcourt, ND; step-son, Cody Drew of Circle, MT; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann (Ron) Anderson of Dickinson, ND, Helen (Bill) Fetsch of Langdon, ND, Patty (Jerry) Howatt of Langdon, ND and Debbie ( Kermit) Sando of Vardo, Norway; brother, Duane Zerr of Malta, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence, mother, Dorothy and brother, Dennis. He will be missed by all, especially special friends, Ron Kroshus, Bruce Restad, Mark Durand, Randy Severin and faithful companion, Beezley. A Celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Western Empire Emporium 3141 King Avenue West, in Billings.
