Deura Hutchinson

Deura (Dev or DV) Vimmon Hutchinson, 76, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Billings Clinic. Dev was born in Chattahoochee, Florida on March 7, 1943 to Deura (Bud) Hutchinson Sr. and Edith Jeter. Dev moved to Montana with his Dad as a young child, ending in Billings where his family grew to include his stepmother, Jane, and later, a brother, David, and sisters, Mryal, Louise, Audrey, Patsy and Jeanie. Dev joined the Air Force in March of 1960. After the Air Force, he held a variety of jobs and spent time doing what he loved the most, playing music and meeting many great people along the way. Dev is survived by his sons, Steven (Sam), Daniel and Michael; grandson, Jonus; former spouse, Connie; and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David; sister, Louise; niece, Carie; nephew, Darin; daughter, LeeAnn; and son, Patrick. A funeral service will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will be a reception at the F.O.E. of Billings located at 526 Laurie Lane in the Heights.
