Margie Baker

Margie Lee Baker was born October 26, 1946 in Conrad, MT. Margie was surrounded by her family when she was granted her angel wings on January 25, 2020. Margie is remembered as a loving and selfless wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She took great pride in dedicating her life to the service of her family. Her smiles, hugs, and strength will be eternally missed. Margie's generous spirit was reflected throughout her life in her work, hobbies, and activities. She fondly remembered her time working with special needs adults, as bookkeeper and para educator for Harlem Public Schools and as volunteer for the VFW. Margie loved to host family for holiday gatherings and was famous for her unparalleled cinnamon rolls and banana chocolate chip cookies. She loved sewing and crafting keepsakes for her family and treasured gifts from her children and grandchildren. She cherished every moment with her husband Bob and her extended family. When Margie wasn't caring for others, she was loyally watching her favorite shows: The Price is Right, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Days of our Lives. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bob Baker; her three daughters, Jacque (Jason) Adams, Marilyn (Scott) Anderson, and Renae Christiaens; brother Darell (Kathy) Hager; grandchildren, Kelsey (Loren) Burmeister, Kassi (Kirk) Meyer, Nathan (Alisha) Anderson, Skyler Christiaens, Kayden Adams, and Kynzi Adams; great-grandchildren, April and Jace Meyer, and Kavren, Kysen, and Grayden Burmeister; former spouse James Christiaens; and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, extended family, and friends. She is welcomed to heaven by her mother Verna Hager, father Arthur Hager, sister Trudy Lehrman, nephew Roger Lehrman, and nieces Lynda Hager, Marena Steele, and Stacy Hager. The family would like to thank the numerous doctors and nurses from Billings Clinic, especially the incredible team from the Cardio Unit, who cared for Margie over the years. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on January 31, 2020 at Dahl Funeral Chapel at 10 Yellowstone Avenue in Billings, MT.
