Ken Danielson, age 73, while proudly finishing up his front yardwork, was called home peacefully to join family and friends in God's spiritual army on March 30, 2020. Ken was a very nice and pleasant person! We didn't know each other all that much growing up but had a chance last July to spend a couple weeks together - touring the Canadian Rockies - with our wives and some other couples! Wonderful , fun , memorable vacation! On a scale of 1 too 10 , ten being the Hightest, I give Ken a 13...May God Grant you Eternal Rest Ken and may His Perpetual Light Shine Upon you, for all Eternity!

Kenny and Kay were married on my birthday-I always remembered their anniversary-it was a bitter cold-South Dakota day-always such a loving/ God-filled relationship-an example to many. May God cover you all in His peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you. "God has said, Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you." Janet Rezek Mertz

Ken was a wonderful man and loved by all who knew him. We were sad to hear of his passing. Our sympathy goes out to Kay and her family. Will never forget the quality he contributed to his Miller Rustler wrestling team as a multiple year state champion. Bryce & Carmen Flint

Kay and kids - I am so sorry to hear that Ken passed last week. Don't we have so many great memories all they way back to college in Aberdeen! Remembering when the twins were born in those days of our home parties and small budgets. My heart goes out to all of you. Ken was special - the soft spoken, tender role model as dad, and husband. His faith showed through every thing he did. I pray for peace. Pat O'Shaughnessy-Clark

This is Korey, one of Ken’s two sons. I just wanted to get on here to leave a thank you note to my Dad and let him know how much he truly meant to me and our family by letting you all know some of the best pieces of advice I’ve received from him over the years. One thing our father definitely instilled in us was that you have to work hard for the things you want in life. Not only in your professions but in your relationships, commitments, projects, yard work etc... He would always tell us if you’re not going to finish something 100 percent then why are you doing it. He taught us to treat to always try before judging anyone one in life to put yourselves into their shoes and reflect some before we pretend to know what they’ve been through. He told us very often that the right path usually is not going to be the easy one and that often it is the hardest but to not be afraid to take it for in the long road you will become the better person for having taken it. He taught us the power of being humble and that you’ll never win someone’s respect by trying to show them how much more you have or how more you’ve done but to instead listen to people and show honest interest in their life’s and to show and share in common interests. He taught us to learn from your mistakes in life and to use those mistakes to make yourself better. He often would tell us how he struggled in school and about at times in life having too much fun and how he realized if he kept following those paths he wouldn’t be where he was today. When my dad would see injustices in life or see us do things that hurt others or others did hurtful things to us he would take us aside and discuss those situations and even though we did get the belt at time we always deep down knew we deserved it. My dad was not a real outspoken man but I always felt and was taught that actions speak louder than words. Dad loved his family more than anything in life and always put us above everything else. I know he’s right here with mom, us kids and our families, his loving relatives and his amazing friends, but it’s going to take awhile to know I can’t just call him up to vent, get some feedback on a house or vehicle issue I’m working on, to go hunting, fishing or camping with my family. I know McKennah bawled for a very long time when she heard her papa had passed and it’s hard knowing how much she loved you and that we won’t have your your smile and big hugs there with mom for her and all the other grandkids for big and little things in life, We do know though in our hearts that you will be there for us all always but it still will be hard. I love you dad an I never could have asked for a better role model in life than you. To my wife and child thanks for always being there to support me and for helping Nana. I love you. To my mother. We love you sooo very much and will be here for you every step. You are a strong person with a very strong faith and many great family members and friends pulling for you. You and dad together gave all of us kids even though you may not always think it an amazing example to follow... Kirk and Kari I can’t stop tearing up thinking about all the memories, I love both and am always here for you... Dad miss u more than you can ever know. Thank you for all you were to all of us and what you represented in the way you lived your life.. Korey
