George Peabody

George Loren Peabody 67, passed away at home in Ryegate, MT. on April 11, 2020 Dad was born to Robert and Martha Peabody in Ekalaka, MT on May 22,1952, and joined brothers; Laverne, Bud, Leland, Frank and sister Charlotte. Dad attended school in Ekalaka and Billings. After High School he moved to Spokane, WA and began his training to become a master plumber. Dad married Terry Gibson on September 22, 1970, and to that union Jodi, Bobbi Jo, Justin and George Jr. were born. On March 4, 1997 Dad married Margo Glock and with that union came four more children, daughter Sandra Kelly, and step-children Laura, Kim and Grant. Dad accomplished many things, but when he started his own business, "Peabody's Plumbing and More", he was filled with pride. He was always fair, just and honest, and of course a great Plumber! It was amazing, you could call him with an issue, and he always knew what was wrong, even over the phone! Dad's greatest joy was his family and friends, hunting and fishing. He loved it when we kids and or the grandkids would come up and spend time hunting and fishing with him. He would always tell us about his hunting and fishing adventures while he lived in Alaska, he loved being there, Alaska was one of his favorite places. Dad was preceded in death by his Parents, brothers; Laverne, Frank, Leland, infant daughter Bobbi Jo, and wife Margo. He is survived by his sister Charlotte (Tony) Zinne, brother Bud Morrison, daughters Sandy (James) Kelly, Jodi Peabody, sons Justin Peabody, George Peabody Jr. Laura Whaley, Kimberly Glock, Grant (Nicole) Glock, Grandchildren; Kaitlynn, Conner, Cole P, Kylie, Dominic (Alexia), Cole M, Eliauna, Daylynn, Jax, Lala, Andi, Wyatt, Josie, Josef, and Lewis. Great-Grandchildren Decklyn, and Margo. We Miss and Love You Dad! Until we meet again! A celebration of life (Party) will be held later this summer.
