Ronald Harding

Ty was born in Missoula, MT on February 20, 1979. He was a Montana boy all his life. Ty loved the outdoors and all it had to offer. You always knew Ty was nearing by the roar of his Harley-Davidson Fat Bob or his big yellow Dodge pickup. Whether it was cruising around town or gliding down the highway, he loved that Harley with the ape hangers. The Beartooth Rally in Red Lodge was an annual mainstay on his calendar. Ty's school years were spent in Columbus, MT (Cougar class of 1997) where he met many of his lifelong friends. He especially looked forward to the annual reunions with his BFF Brent Thompson and the Thompson Family. He met and married Mollyrose Miller in Columbus and they had 3 amazing children: Logan (20), Justin (17) and Sophia (16). Ty loved his children with all his heart. Ty lost his younger brother Justin in a snowmobile accident in 2002 and his heart was broken. Over the years Ty made many special friendships with many guys who he called "Brothers". Arthur (Root Beer) Terrel lived with Ty's family during high school and that brotherly bond grew throughout the years with Roots and his wife Elizabeth. To all you other brothers, thank you for your love and great memories. Ty previously worked for CED in electrical sales and CMG as a heavy equipment operator, but he always joked that the shovel was the hardest tool to operate. Ty started work for Yellowstone County at Metra Park in 2017. His work family said you always knew when Ty was around because he loved to laugh and his booming voice was heard by all. Ty loved music-especially country western and Rock. He would spontaneously break into song or even give an amazing rendition of "Turn the Page". When Hank Williams Jr played at South Park, Ty was dressed up as Hank and many in the crowd mistook Ty for Hank. On stage Hank Jr acknowledged that his "twin" was in the crowd but they were differentiated because Ty had worn a cowboy hat and Hank had his baseball cap on that day. Ty's mama taught him to dance at a young age and he was known to take a pretty lady on a spin across the dance floor. Ty is survived by this mother Kathie Todd and stepfather Greg Todd, his father Ron Harding (Barbie), his Uncle and Aunt Bill and Debbie Lind, and his 3 children Logan, Justin and Sophia, and their mother Mollyrose Harding. Additionally Ty is survived by many "True Brothers" who are not blood related. You all know who you are. We thank you and love you. When you are hurting please ask for help, there is always someone who is willing and able. Ty was preceded in death by his brother Justin; his maternal grandparents Chet and Margaret Lind; his paternal grandfather Herschel Harding and his children's grandfather Doug Miller and Aunt Heidi M Miller. "God give us the Serenity to accept the things we cannot change, The Courage to change the things we can And the Wisdom to know the difference." **REST IN PEACE TY** A memorial fund is set up for his children at Valley Federal Credit Union, Billings, MT. A celebration of his life will be held during the summer.
