Obituary
On April 26, 2020, Micah Aaron Myron was tragically taken from this earth. Micah was born on November 22, 1969, as the oldest child of Elmer and Nadenia (Thomas) Myron. He was a proud full-blooded member of the Hopi tribe of Arizona. The Hopi names that he was gifted with include, SoonwuKa (Milkyway), Tawanasopti (High Noon), and Yama (Sunrise). His childhood was spent around Arizona, including the Hopi Reservation with some time spent in Newton, KS. He ultimately graduated from high school in Phoenix, AZ and continued his education at Bethel college in Newton, KS graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Eventually, he went on to earn a Master's degree in Social Work from the Walla Walla College satellite program in Billings, MT and received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence because of his 4.0 GPA. He used these degrees while working at Pryor Public School and later the Veterans Administration, specializing in PTSD. Most recently, Micah worked as a prep cook at Red Lobster. On April 12, 1997, Micah married Rhonda Busenitz. To this union he had 2 daughters, Kylin Rose, who preceded him in death and Kiara Faye. They later divorced. At the time of his death, Micah was with his loving girlfriend Stephanie Plainbull. They recently welcomed a son, Royalty Layne Myron on June 8, 2019. Micah loved to go fishing with his good friend David Graber. He also loved to golf, Micah could golf for hours and hours. He was also passionate about his favorite sports teams, the University of Arizona Wildcats and the Arizona Cardinals. Micah loved to wear hats and was rarely seen without a hat on. He loved to fire up the grill and be a grill master. Micah is preceded in death by his daughter Kylin Rose, grandparents Mary and Lee Thomas, and Wilfred and Annabelle Myron. Micah is survived by his girlfriend, Stephanie; his children, Kiara (Patrick) and Royalty of Billings; his parents Elmer and Nadenia Myron; his brothers Timothy, Bryan, and Christopher all of Arizona. He is also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Please forgive us if we have forgotten anyone during this difficult time.

Micah was an intern at The Family Tree Center--and then an employee--and even though life threw him some curve balls, he did such great work with children and families, both at The Family Tree and later in Pryor and the other places he worked. I was proud to call him a friend. My sincere condolences to his family here and in Arizona and many prayers are raining down on you, I know.
