Kevlene Rose Not Afraid July 22,1981- June 6, 2020 Kevlene was born in Billings on July 22, 1981 - grew up and attended schools in Billings and Pryor. In 2012 she obtained her GED. Kevlene passed away Saturday June 6, 2020 from an illness in which she was sick for quite some time. She is survived by her mother Lena Tsosie-Rides Horse and father Vidal Not Afraid Sr. She was a member of the Bad War Deeds Clan and a Child of the Greasy Mouth Clan. She loved her kids so much as well as her nieces and nephews as her own. Survived by Kevelene - Kids: Talene (Chris), Zayla (Josh), Kyler, Kylea, Devane, and Eziah Not Afraid. Kevlenes Grandkids: Frankie, Aayesenia, Iris. Kevlenes Neices & Nephews: Esa'lea, Elias, Kobe, Kodi, Cedric Thomas, Jada, Kenadee, Anessa, Jazmyn, Jonathan Jr., Rajah, Celiano, Lathan, Natasha, Nariyah Faye, Kalijah. Most of all she loved her babies Anessa and Devane - always saying “Where are my babies”. Kevlenes Siblings: Brother - Blaine (Kandis) Big Lake. Sisters - RoyAnn (Lewis) Enick, Vida Not Afraid Fredericks, Saraya (Kimberly) Grant Nez Perce, Nora Tsosie, Rachel Don't Mix. Adopted Sisters - Rosalinda & Rita Ponce. Aunts: Christine Crow, Lavern (Wales) Bull Tail, Viola Bird Hat, Warlene Well Known, Darlene Bird Faraway, Jolene & Patrice Not Afraid. Uncles: Edwin (Annie) Tsosie, Vernon Tsosie, J.K. Bell Rock. Grandmothers: Emma Core, Clara Rides The Bear, Eloise Leahy, Lena (Big Aunty) Johnson, Melvina (Granny) McClusky, Janice Bell Rock. Grandfathers: Carson (Ava) Bell Rock & Linwood Prince. She was preceded in death by Brothers: Cedric Not Afraid, Quentin Round Face; Her Grandparents: David Tsosie, Ethel Bell Rock, Aileen Not Afraid, Theresa Haun, Ella Jean Cortwright, James (Sonny) Bell & Frank Core. Aunties: Colleen Not Afraid & Marlene Rides Horse. Uncles: Dion Bell Rock, Oliver Costa, Bruce Big Hail. As well as her niece; Marie Not Afraid. Kevlene is also survived by all of her extended family; The Bell Rocks, Tsosie, McClusky, Johnson, Plain Feather, Birds Hats, Not Afraid, Beaumonts & Turnsplenty. Our apologies if you were missed. We would like to say thank you to Riverstone Hospice for her ‘end of life' care. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM - June 6, 2020 at Dahls Funeral - Family only. Following the funeral a burial will be held at the Pryor Cemetery.
