Dena Kotas

Dena Lynn Kotas of Riverton, Wyoming passed away on June 15, 2020 at age 53 in St. Vincent's hospital, Billings, Montana. Dena was born Oct 22, 1966 at Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base south of Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from The University of Great Falls, Montana with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and achieved her Master's degree in Business from Capella University. She had a fulfilling career as a Child Protective Specialist as she enjoyed helping children improve their Quality of life. At the time of her death, she was working for the Wind River Job Corps Center in Riverton, Wyoming. Dena was preceded in death by her husband Paul Kotas on June 9, 2015. She is survived by her parents, Geoffrey and Betty Tipton of Albuquerque, NM. She had four children; Daniel Lane, Denise Lane, Michael Nantt, and Brandice Olson and seven grandchildren; Dameon, William, Fiona, Katie, Justice, Bridger, and Jonathon, all living in Wyoming and two sisters, Michelle Roll of Denver, Co. and Tammy Barker of Burke, Virginia. Because of COVID 19 travel restrictions, memorial services have still not been scheduled.
