Bernard Wehri

Bernard Jacob Wehri was born sixth of eleven children in Hebron, ND on April 10, 1947 and passed away peacefully surrounded by family August 9, 2020 in Billings, MT. He was lovingly known to family and friends as "Bernie". He is survived by his wife, Eileen (Deis) Wehri; three sons, Joseph (Katherine), James (Jill) and Jonathan (Alison) and seven grandchildren; Aidan, Maren, Owen, Evan, Grayson, Anson and Ethan. Also, many siblings, sisters; Lois and Janice and brothers; Linus, Virgil, Irvin, Raymond, and Paul. He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph and Barbara (Berger) and brothers; Melvin, Leo and Harvey. Bernie and Eileen lived in Mandan, ND and then later in life moved to Billings, MT where they raised their boys. Bernie enjoyed fishing and camping with the family and was always good for a story or two. He was an usher and member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Patrick's Church. Bernie will forever be honored and remembered for his service to the United States Army. A private family service will be held at Holy Cross cemetery August 14, 2020.
