Steffany Cox

Surrounded by her family in prayer and worship, our beloved Steffany DeAnne Cox went home to the loving embrace of Jesus, her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2020, winning her courageous battle with cancer. Steffany was a miracle baby born on October 1, 1990, in Lancaster, CA, to Steve and Lorri Madler. She grew up with her big sister and lifelong best friend, Marissa, in Colstrip, MT. After graduation, she met the love of her life, Ian Cox, and they were married on January 18, 2011. Making their home in Billings, MT, they were blessed with three incredible boys, Emett (6), Eivin (4), and miracle baby Ezra (1). Steffany was blessed with a creative mind and excelled at anything she put her mind to. She loved planning and designing home projects, decorating, and had a passion for photography, but her greatest joy was being a loving wife and mother. Her faith and walk with Jesus guided her life and was evident to all who knew her. Throughout her journey, she blessed and encouraged everyone who crossed her path. By God's grace, Steffany was a beautiful example of truly trusting in Christ, and lived to give Him glory no matter the circumstances. Her request was to share more about Jesus than about her, and she hoped and prayed that those she loved and encountered who have yet to, would come to understand the gospel and be saved. Steffany is survived by her husband Ian; sons, Emett, Eivin, and Ezra; her parents, Steve and Lorri Madler (Colstrip); Sister, Marissa (Ben) Schreiner; precious nieces, Carlen, Gracen, and Fallon (Billings); Grandparents, Francis and JoAn Madler (Spearfish, SD); numerous special Aunts, Uncles, and cousins; Father and Mother-in-law, Guy and Deborah Cox (Billings); Sister-in-law Alissa (Dave) Gray and sweet nephews, Devin and Damon; along with Grandma Virginia Cox. She was preceded in death by Grandparents Leland and Virginia Gundlach, Aunt Mary Gundlach and cousin Joel Renner. Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Chapel in Billings, MT with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
