Priscilla Nez Perce

Priscilla “Priscine” Turnsplenty-Nez Perce Priscine was born on February 22, 1934 in Pryor, MT to Ralph and Rose Decrane-Turnsplenty Sr, additionally she was adopted by Mary Decrane-Whiteman. Priscine's Crow name was Dáashuuke Xaalíash ‘Aged Arrowhead'. She was a member of the Sore Lip clan and a child of the Big Lodge clan. Priscene attended St. Charles Mission as a child and graduated from Edgar High School, she also attended Business College in Colorado from 1970-1973 and Eastern Montana College in Billings from 1976-1977. Priscine married (and later divorced) Donavan Brush, from this nuptial welcomed Calvin Brush; she also married Jack Burgess (and later divorced) and from this union welcomed Jackie Burgess; she then met and married the love of her life, Dennis Nez Perce, on December 30, 1969 and from this bond welcomed Anita, Terri Rose and Liana Nez Perce. Priscine was proceeded in death by her husband, Dennis Nez Perce; her children, Beth Denise and Sarah Nez Perce; her parents, Ralph and Rose Decrane-Turnsplenty; her adopted parents Claude and Mary Decrane-Dawes; her brothers, Sammy, David, Chester, Vernie Turnsplenty, Joseph Bulltail; her sisters-in-law, Caroline Shambo, Donna Boyer and Lou Werk. She is survived by her children; Calvin (Beth) Brush, Jodi Bulltail, Jackie Burgess, Anita (Aaron) Fighter, Terri (Jason) Nez Perce, Liana Nez Perce and adopted daughters, Marilyn Morning Gun and Tiffany James. Grandchildren; Patty (Bo Pretty On Top) Brush, Cleva (Ervin Beston, Jr) Brush, Kevin Brush, John (Ashley) Gun Shows, Eleanor Gun Shows, Colten and Rosena Bulltail, Rascina, Sonny, and Priscilla Half, Maria, Terrell, Mia Nez Perce and Brent Dawes, Adrienne (Caleb Plain Bull) Nez Perce, and Noimie (Mike Neeser) Garcia, Bob, Nico, Ryjel (Sharon) Mountain Sheep, and Danness and Ezrah Nez Perce, Hilary (Pat) One Bear, Marisa, Robert Jr, and Michelle Speelman. Great grandchildren; Kyle, Cody, Lizbeth, Bessie, Zendaya, Samara, Eliana, Gabby, Kaylia, Christian, Kijah, Akyalee, Aaliyah, Laniyah, Quanah, Karli, Ivy, El'Oushia, Aariah, Victorius, Chevillus, Trent, Myla, Issac, Arlo, Aria. Priscilla leaves behind siblings Sylvia Gone, Wayne Turnsplenty, Charlene Laverdure, Verna, Louise, Mary, A.J. (Adora) and Avalon Turnsplenty, Faith (Dave) Wounded Face, and her brother-in-law Eddie Brockie. Her close friends/cousin sisters, Geneva Whiteman, Agnes Pretty Weasel and Caroline Morrison. Her extended family includes; (Josephine) Whiteman, Decrane, Goes Ahead, Nez Perce, Champagne, Grant, Skinner, Werk and Wall families, also the late Joe Hill, Isabelle Medicine Horse, Old Man Plain Feather families.
