Obituary
Gladys Ann Little Nest Bear Below of Lodge Grass, MT, born July 21, 1938 to Jack and Pearl Fights Well-Known Little Nest, went to the other side camp Saturday October 3, 2020. Gladys was united in marriage to James Bear Below, who preceded Gladys in death after 45 years of marriage. Gladys worked at various jobs, including Arts & Crafts and the Crow tribe. Gladys enjoyed attending traditional events, including Hand games, Pow-wows and Parades, her hobbies were gambling and she loved to play bingo. One of the highlights in Gladys' life was watching her children and grandchildren partake in sporting events. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, daughters; Sharolyn and Jeannie, son; Francis Jonathan Bear Below, grandchildren; Angelique Bear Below and Elizabeth Walks, siblings; Joseph, Patrick, John Bernard, Jon Maurcy, Francis, Paul, Elizabeth, and Bonnie Little Nest, Debbie Howe Yarlott, Gwendolyn Howe Falls Down, Stephanie and Lucy Ann Driftwood. Surviving Gladys; son, Benjamin (Teatta) Bear Below, grandchildren; Thomas (Peggy) Walks, Samantha, Jarvis (Chrissy), Jaretha (Ernie), Jarika, Jayschell (Steven), Iryjah (DeAndrey), Tommy Jones, Tanya (Solon) Moccasin, Andrew, Jeannette and Tony Little Nest, Curtis Falls Down, and Shane Armajo, great grandchildren; Eugene Jr., Angel (Brad), and Tevin Smith, CJ Walks, Jonathan Bear Below, Taylar, Kimberleigh, Charlie, Abigail and Lorenzo Falls Down, Evan Crazy Boy, Xanian and Xada Little Wolf, Ty and Gabby Moccasin, Andrez, Malachai and Lance Little Nest, Cameron, Vivian, and Camille, siblings; Michael Little Nest, Agnes Left Hand, Marvin Stewart, Gloria Good Luck, Vicki Howe, and Sargie Howe, adopted children; Marceline Little Nest, Martha Blaine, Benito Brown, and Clinton Walks, and special friends; Ardith Birdinground and Mary Lou Big Day. Extended families include: Fights Well-Known, Little Nest, LaForge, Bouyer, Medicine Crow, Horn, Greybull, Reed, White Hip, Medicine Tail, Birdfaraway, and Dillons. The family of Gladys Bear Below would like to give a special thank you to Aspen Meadows and Awe Kualawaache Care Center staff for their care. If we missed any relatives, we are sorry, it was not intentional. Rosary will be held Tuesday October 6, 2020 at 6:00pm at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Billings, MT. Graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday October 7, 2020 at 1:00pm at Lodge Grass Cemetery in Lodge Grass, MT.

Rest in Peace Gladys Ann, There will be rejoicing in Heaven and I know she will make everyone laugh with her wonderful sense of humor. Sending prayers and condolences to her family she was a wonderful aunt who gave me one of my most treasured gifts.
