Richard Thomas Harris, 93, passed away October 19,2020 Born in Columbus, Mt and raised in Billings from age 9 funeral service was postponed until now with hopes his son Jeff living in the Philippines could attend. Richard grauduated from Billings Senior high and Denver university. Spent time in the Navy, won the golden globes trophy for boxing Married at age 22 and had 4 children, 3 sons Mark,Scott and Jeff 1 daughter Lee, including 12 grandchildren. He loved to travel, restore Antique cars and live life to the fullest. He was the developer of Emerald Hills Subdivision along with 2 partners.

To Lee and Jeff, I worked at KB Chemical with your brother Scott for 7 years from 1995 to 2002. Scott was my sales mgr for my full employment and on many occasions we would have “sales training” at Dicks house in Lockwood. This special training entailed many of Dicks stories and experiences he had as a commission salesman through the years. I need to include that all of these meetings included good stiff drinks of blended whiskey poured by Dick. Your dad was a wonderful story teller and his wit was in a league by itself, constantly making me laugh out loud. I will always have warm memories of Dick since he showed me a high amount of respect and was always happy to tell us good stories and awesome one liners. I know your dad was failing in his last years and hope you can find some peace knowing that he is in a better place. Please accept my prayers and condolences to the family.
