Larry Little Owl

Service Wednesday November 18, 2020 at Crow Revival Center, Crow Agency Larry Little Owl, Sr. Senior Pastor of the Crow Revival Center went home to be with our Lord and Savior on November 14, 2020. He was born on November 27, 1936 in Lodge Grass, MT. Son of Hugh and Kathleen Black Eagle-Little Owl. His Crow name is Iichíin Dakáakash, Bird Horse. He was a member of the Big Lodge Clan and a Child of the Piegan. Larry was part of the Graduating class of 1957, from Flandreau Indian School. He participated in Football and played as the point guard for the Class A Basketball team. He was also crowned Homecoming King. Larry married Linda Mae Stands Over Bull in August of 1959, together they had 6 children and made their home in St. Xavier, MT. the couple later moved to Crow Agency, MT where he worked as a Carpenter, Heavy Equipment Operator, and a Masonry. Larry loved all his children and grandchildren; he was blessed with 40 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grand Children. He spent his time on the Little Owl Ranch in St. Xavier, MT with his family, He Loved to be surrounded by all his grandchildren, he was a faithful servant to his Lord and Savior. He was the Pastor at the Crow Revival Center for 46 years. During his ministry he shared his love and friendship with his congregation, and with those he fellowshipped with while he traveled for the Lord. He was proceeded in death by His parents Hugh and Kathleen Little Owl, His daughter Valerie Joy Little Owl, DeAllen Little Owl, Clint Corey Not Afraid, Robert, Ernest, Lavonne, Pauline Little Owl, Meyers and Hartford Black Eagle, Frances Bear Claw, Calvin and Raymond Jefferson, Ettings and Xavier Little Owl, Lauren Spint, Charlene Black Eagle, Adelia Stewart, Hazel Not Afraid, Darlene Hugs, Philamine Old Coyote, Lucy Little Owl, Violet Enick, Kathy Asencio, Marlon and Larry Darcy Black Eagle, Gareth Reed, Newlyn Little Owl, Joe Phares, Jeffery Jefferson.
