Keith Thill

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Keith Thill. He passed away from cancer at home in Billings, Montana surrounded by loved ones on December 6, 2020. Keith was born on January 23, 1958 in Duluth, Minnesota. He is the third child of Tom and Joan Thill after his sister Jeanmarie and his brother Michael. The family continued to grow with his brother Richard and his sister Peggy. In the mid-60's, Joan and her kids moved to Billings, Montana where Keith attended school and graduated from Senior High. On February 18, 1977 he married his high school sweetheart, Gayle Kepler. To that union their wonderful son Josh Thill was born. Keith was a jack of all trades, ultimately establishing a reputation as an excellent painter. Keith enjoyed skiing, sports, fishing, nature, photography and music. His favorite pastime, though, was giving people grief. Keith was a hell of a good guy and was well known for his wonderful sense of humor and his quick wit. He loved to spend time with his family, especially at their cabin in Minnesota. His proudest achievement was his son Josh. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gayle and his son, Josh, his siblings; sister, Jeanmarie (Bob) Dantic of Billings, brother, Michael (Char) Thill of Laurel, Richard (Patti) Thill of Denver, CO and sister, Peggy Thill of Lakewood, CO and many nieces and nephews who adored him. He was the bestest Uncle ever. Keith will be SOOOO missed. Remember him when you laugh, life is better when you laugh.
