Everything about Ellen was just sweet. There was never a day that I saw her that she didn't have her beautiful smile on her face. She was a great neighbor....if she looked across and my yard light was off, she would always call to see if I was okay...she was the happiest person I have ever known....I am sure she is flying high with the angels!!

When I was a young girl living in Harlowton , Ellen was my hero. I was just so impressed with everything she did. May she Rest In Peace and condolences to her family. Connie Moore Morris. My father, John, is Ellen’s cousin.

I have many fond memories of visiting “the homestead” with my parents and grandparents. Many memories of fun times on the farm, whether climbing around in the hay stacks, feeding the “wild cats”, hunting rabbits with my brother Larry, or watching grandpa working with Bill to chose the steer to share between my family and my grandparents, I always had fun and looked forward to our visits. But best of all was eating Ellen’s roast beef dinner together. Delicious food and entertaining table conversation. Ellen always was so kind and generous. She will be missed, but I consider myself lucky to have known her and be part of her family. Jim Mitchell
