Troy Johnson

Troy D. Jonson went to be with Jesus on January 10, 2021. He was born on June 1, 1966 in Salt Lake City, UT to Rose and Douglas Johnson. Troy was one of 5 children. He graduated from Kearns High School In Salt Lake City and became a drywall contractor. Troy worked hard to care for his family and helped anyone he could. “I shall pass thought this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again.” -Stephen Grellet. This was Troy. He had a big heart and a caring soul. Troy was very kind, and thoughtful. He loved Jesus and showed many to the Lord. Troy loved his family, he had three kids: Jennifer, Katie Rose, and Jackson. Troy was fortunate to have met and married his wife, Becky whom he referred to as his “dream girl.” Troy was adventurous and fun to be around he liked being outdoors. He would travel to go fishing and camping. He spent time with friends and family outside having BBQ's. Troy was a joy to be around he liked jokes and his laugh was contagious. His caring side allowed him to be a good listener and a great person to talk ideas out with. Troy is survived by his wife, Becky Johnson. Sister: Teri Bingham (Terry Thomas) (MT). Brothers: Todd (WA), Travis (UT), and Danny (MT). Daughters: Jennifer and Katie Rose Johnson. Troy is preceded in death by his son Jackson Johnson, his mother and father, Rose and Douglas Johnson, and his grandparents. There is a memorial service being planned for the spring.
