As many people know, Bill didn’t have his right index finger. He's told his grandkids a goose bit it off, he picked his nose and it got stuck up there, he asked someone to pull his finger and they pulled a little too hard, and he lost it in a farming accident. What's the truth? Who knows. Anyway, Grandpa Daem always pointed with his middle finger. When I was in kindergarten, I decided to point that way too. I couldn't understand why Grandpa could point that way but I couldn't 🤣

Bill was a life saver more times than not. When my girls were little I had a daycare in my home. I took the children with me wherever I went. On on morning, I needed to get groceries so I ran to Albertsons on 24th and Central. I had at least 5 children with me if not more. We got our groceries, loaded up the station wagon and then headed for home. I didn't even get out of the parking lot when the car had problems. (This was before cell phones) Who did I call? Bill. Bill came, Bill fixed it and that was it. He never made me feel bad. He was always willing to help whenever he could. Thank you, Bill for everything. You were a helping hand, always. Love you. Thank you for being you. Cheryl
