Hal Haefer

I met "Hal" (as I knew him) in the Summer of 1973 at NMC. I was a rising high school sophomore and mom, a teacher at Scobey, was going to summer school. Because of that, and my father working away from home, I was allowed to stay in my own room in the dorm for summer students. Hal was one of those students. I enjoyed hanging out with him (probably more than vice-versa), but he indeed made an enduring impression on me and I am glad I knew him. Thank you for service, Mr. Haefer, not only your military service, but for all those years as a school counselor as well. Now you know the wonderful effect you had on so many people. Much respect.
