Obituary
Ronald J Bleazard II was born January 23, 1965 to Maxine Ruth Gieck and Ronald J Bleazard in Salt Lake City, UT. As a youth Ron lived between Utah, Las Vegas, and Reno. At around age 12 he moved to Polson Montana with his Dad and younger brother, David. He attended Polson High School and enjoyed both football and wrestling and developed a lifelong love of Montana. Ron met Ellen, his best friend and soul mate, on Valentine's Day 1983 at a choir festival in Bigfork, MT. At the time, Ron was a senior in high school, participating in the freshman choir. While on a break at the festival, Ron and his buddy were walking by the school buses where Ellen and her friend were hanging out. Ellen and her friend whistled out the window at the boys. And as Ron would say “she picked him up”. Ron did not call her for 4 months after this meeting, then he ask her to go to his senior prom. Ron and Ellen were married a year and a half later on September 8, 1984 in Lolo Creek, MT. Two years later, they welcomed their first child Kristin in October of 1986 while living in Reno, NV. Ron had dreamed of having a child ever since he was sixteen, and she quickly stole his entire heart. Shortly after Kristin was born, Ron started his lifelong career at UPS in spring of 1987. Ron began in loading, and package care. He had the to opportunity to advance to the Feeder Department and took a transfer to Wells, NV. In February 1992 they welcomed their second daughter, Sierra, to the family showing Ron he had room in his heart to love another child just as much. Also while living in Wells, in May 1993 they welcomed surprise baby, Chantel, who was born in Missoula, MT. Ron found again that his heart was big enough to love another child and his family was completed. Ron enveloped his family with love and always made sure they felt his love. Ron took another transfer moving into his grandparents house in Murray, UT for a short time before buying a home in Tooele, UT. During their time in Tooele they made many lifelong friends and Ron and Ellen were sealed to each other and their children in the Jordan River Temple. Ron spent many hours hunting and fishing and his favorite times were spent out in nature and with his family and extended family. Shortly after the birth of his “little Man” Myles in 2011, Ron and Ellen moved to Ballantine, MT where they built their retirement home. In early 2013, Ellen and Ron welcomed their second grandchild, Jema Jae, and enjoyed the luxury of having them live right on their property. Their third grandchild, Elli came along in 2016 and Emma in 2018 pulling his heart strings back to Utah. Ron was present for the birth of each of his grandchildren and being “Papa" became his world. He loved each one with his whole heart and soul. Papa Ron cherished every moment that he was able to spend with them. When Ron wasn't busy working on his property, he loved to spend his free time in the outdoors. Many weekends he could be found on the shore or in his pontoon on a river, fishing pole in hand. He also loved hunting in the hills hoping to get the “big one”. He looked forward to his annual fishing trips with his buddies and yearly hunting trips with his family. He didn't always get something, but it was always an adventure. A Bobcat fan to the core, he enjoyed football games and come rain or shine he was there to cheer the boys on. Ron was very family-oriented and everyone in his life knew how much he loved them. He was never seen without a smile and a warm greeting. He wanted nothing more than to make sure everyone was taken care of. Many times, in his final days, he was heard saying “I need you to know how much I love you and I need to be sure you are all going to be OK”. Forever worrying about and protecting the people he loved. In February 2018 Ron was diagnosed with cancer and began the fight of his life. Through this time he remained strong, humble, full of hope and love for his family and continued making plans for the future. He never once gave in he, was adamant that he wouldn't give up. Ron's final battle came to a close in the arms of his wife and daughters and surrounded by family on February 9, 2021. Ron was preceded in death by his mother Maxine Gieck- Smith. He is survived by wife Ellen Bleazard; daughters and families: Kristin Dorman (RJ, Elli, Emma), Sierra McDonnell (Dustin, Myles, Jema Jae), Chantel Bleazard; father Ronald Jay Bleazard; sisters: Cindy Decker, Kathy West; brothers: Scott Worthington, David Bleazard, "pseudo brother" Ron Schafer. From Kristin He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He loved with all his heart and gave all he had to those he loved. From Sierra He was always there to guide, coach, inspire, or cheer on his girls and grandkids in everything they wanted to do. From Chantel Dad was always a gentle soul who taught me to walk tall. He loved all the women in his life and would do anything to build us up. Above all he taught me self-worth and ownership. I don't know what I'm going to do without him and I hope with everything I do I can make him proud. From David Ron was known throughout his life as a cool kid. He showed respect to everyone and was a protector of all. They broke the mold after Ronnie came along. From RJ I've never met a more welcoming, warm, loving person in my life. He welcomed me into the family from the get go. He loved hard with his whole heart and left a deep impression on all those who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all. Thank you for everything I love you Ron. From Dustin Getting to know the amazing man, husband and father Ron was over the last 11 years of my life has made an impact that I have never expected. He has shown me what it means to be rich in family and taught me to take pride in everything I do. I lost my father in 2010 and Ron didn't hesitated to fill that role. He will be missed dearly I love you Ron and I'm thankful for the time we had. From Scott Ron always wanted to make everyone welcome. He always made sure to make the rounds at family reunions and talk to everyone. I don't think he missed a single person. He was the most family oriented man I know.

Ellen and family, my heart breaks for each of you. I have so many memories of Ron but a my most favorite is at my wedding when he and Ellen were the longest married couple on the dance floor and my husband and I joined them in the dance. Ron shared his trinkets of a good marriage with me and all were about deep love. My husband and I will forever be greatful to have gotten to know Ron. His and Ellen's relationship is what we always strive to emulate. We have been know to say "when we grow up we are going to be just like Ellen and Ron". Ron will be missed terribly by so so many! Love to you all Paula and Ian Howard

Ellen and family, my prayers and thoughts are with all of you always. Ron and I worked together for many years. He came through the door everyday with his big smile, asked how are you today, and always waited for your answer. He would help everyone to make sure the feeder operation ran smoothly, going out of his way time and time again. Ron talked about his family often, how proud he was of all of you. He showed pictures of each grandchild when they came into the world, smiling ear to ear. Ron was a wonderful man with a big heart, who will be missed by everyone who had the chance to know him. Love and God's strength to you all. Pamela Hoelscher.

I loved Ron or "Ronnie" as I called him. When Jay moved with two of his boys (Ronnie and David) to Montana, they were trying to find a new start somewhere and for a time they lived with us. Instantly I gained two younger brothers! Whether we were playing sports, fishing, camping, enjoying family outings, or even doing chores -- I have such great memories of the time we spent together growing up in Polson, MT. A couple of my favorite memories include events like one scout camp where Ronnie being a "city kid" at the time had to learn camping skills. Ronnie was so excited about a swimming hole we were hiking to that he wore his swimsuit under his jeans - but he forgot to pack any underwear to change into after the swimming portion was over. Let’s just say it was a long hike out the next day! I also remember seeing the original "Star Wars" movie at the Polson Drive Inn theatre with Ronnie and David in Uncle Jays old white station wagon! I guess that really dates us. And I remember just the normal things kids learn about as they grow through their teenage years. I remember watching Jay teach his boys how to measure the right amount of spaghetti noodles needed for dinner, the correct way to mow a lawn, and yes even how to bait a hook. I also watched as my mother took each of the boys into her own arms and into her heart; she helped them learn to love each other and confirmed to them how much my family loved them all. Time rolls by and our youth turns its attention to other matters. As adults, Ronnie and I spoke less frequently than it now seems we should have. I am grateful to have called him a couple of weeks ago to wish him a happy birthday and to just talk. He shared some of his recent struggles, and though his voice was tired and tried, the sound of hope was still present. Who could ask for more? Ellen, girls, I pray for each of you and your families. Uncle Jay. Scott. Family. I pray each of you receive some measure of comfort during this time of pain. I do not pretend to completely understand your loss or why these things occur when they do. But I do know there is someone that does understand completely…our elder Brother, Jesus Christ. I believe in Christ; and from my last conversation with Ronnie – I think he did as well. I know he believed in the Eternal nature of your family. In due time, you will have the opportunity as to see Ronnie again and to be reunited as family. This is the promise you received in the Temple and I promise you the Lord, Jesus Christ, will keep his promise to you. I love you all. Patrick
