Obituary
Judith Ann “Judy” Sherman was born February 26, 1946 in Billings, MT, the fourth of seven children of Ed and Marie Schneider Sherman. She passed away peacefully at her home, fulfilling her wish that more than anything else, she wanted to live out her life in her own home. Judy enjoyed puzzles, she loved entertaining her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. And she enjoyed her dogs, especially Tuck and Zoe. Many of Judy's co-workers became life-long friends after retirement. Nancy Lawson, Jeanie Wagnnie, and Penny Brabic helped celebrate birthdays and other occasions and Judy enjoyed these times immensely. Although Judy didn't have children, she loved her nieces and nephews as her own: Stacey, Cigorelli, Terra Evan, Melanie Sherman, Marlo Dunham, Cyndie Hodges, Vicky Laude, Dawn Sherman Anthony, Deric Sherman, and Trevor Sherman. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Ed, Bruce and James; sister Melody Reigarrd; and many other relatives. She is survived by her nieces and nephews; and brothers Joe and Harry. Judy had a heart of gold, always willing to help anyone who was in need. She shared her advice, and she shared her home. Everyone was welcome, it was the family meeting place. Judy enjoyed many long talks with her best friend Cheryl Dufrenne and her favorite cousin Sharon Foos. Going to visit at Judy's home meant lots of love and laughter, a place where memories were made.

The Sherman family has always been and will always be, a part of our family. A wonderful family of nine, seven children and two caring parents. Thinking of Harry and Joe today and many days to come. As our Sherman Cousins have always been friends, I am saddened at their passing. But with happy memories of good times shared, and hope eternal for a future with God, we will celebrate and say how blessed and how lucky we have been to be family!

My aunt was an amazing soul. She always welcomed family, friends and neighbors into her home. She loved to cook and bake but it became harder as she got older, so I helped do those things for her. She never measured anything and would just tell me taste it to see if you need more. She’d help my kids bake all the goodies. Judy was put together, everyday she’d make her bed, breakfast and get dressed up, I’d ask her why she got all dressed up and she’d tell me, you never know who will show up at your door. She was the glue that kept a lot of us together, but just remember she’ll be up in Heaven keeping us all in line!!! We love you, you’re greatly missed
