We met Marilyn years ago at Trinity Lutheran Church, when she befriended our family. She was so outgoing and welcoming, and she was like a bonus grandparent to our children when they were young. Marilyn blessed so many people by sharing her love of Christ and her sweet personality. We are so thankful that we knew her! 🙏🏼

Miss Tollefson was my most beloved teacher, oh so many years ago, as an awkward 5th grade student. She had exacting high standards but was able to pass along a love for learning that has lasted. More importantly, she did it with a sense of humor and a way of letting us each know we belonged. She remained my favorite teacher, always. Rest well, Miss Tollefson.

Mrs. Heinemann was my first grade teacher 59 years ago. Teachers were a lot stricker back in those days. I remember saying the pledge of allegiance before class starting. God rest her sole!

I've known Marilyn for probably 20 years. I'm one of her many sagebrush friends. I walked Beau for her for 2 years until a knee replacement stopped me. Marilyn was always positive and we had many good conversations. I'd ask her how she was doing and she would say, "Not quite so high but I'm still kicking!" The last year has been hard for her. I'm glad she has been spared the catarac surgery that she was dreading. I'm going to miss her smile and friendship. I'm so very sorry to miss her service -I'm traveling out of state and unable to attend. Thinking of Marilyn will always bring a fond memory and a smile on my face. I will miss her greatly. I know she is heaven with Beau at her side and surrounded by all of her beloved dogs.
