Obituary

It is with the deepest regret and broken hearts that we inform you that Ryan Allen Traynor has passed away at 37 years old. Ryan was a miracle baby, born on September 30th 1983 to Ronald and Judy Traynor, and he stole the heart of everyone that met him every day since. He was a sweet and polite little boy who earned the nickname “Cheaps” trying to say peaches, and enjoyed spending time with his parents and grandparents, soaking in their wisdom and love. He loved to follow his heroes and older brothers, Ronny and Bobby, everywhere they went, and could always be found playing with his neighborhood friends riding bikes or playing baseball all over uptown Butte. He was an amazingly athletic, a talented pitcher and baseball player that made All-Stars every year. He was also an incredibly talented, fast and calculated boxer that never backed down and barley ever lost. He was a fighter in every sense of the word. Ryan was an avid hunter from childhood, he never missed a season, and his fondest memories were of hunting with his father, brothers and uncles up in the mountains in his hometown of Butte, MT. Ryan was an extremely hard worker, masterful and meticulous, and anyone who worked with him described him is the most intense, most driven man they had ever met on the job site. He spent most of his career in the oil industry, and found great success there, but because he was so versatile, he adventured into many different careers, most of which all revolved around honest hard labor. But his greatest achievement of all was being a husband and father. He had his first child, Hayley, at a young age and she was the first light of his life. He had another son a few years later, Ryan J., and he and his son were built in best friends and were never apart. Five years later he met the love of his life, Molly, and together they had 3 more children, Ryley, Ronan and Kasper. When he found out Hayden might be his child, he immediately went out and scooped him up into his heart and into his life before even waiting for the test results or legal measures, because that's what an amazing and devoted father he was; and they loved and raised all his children together and happily as one big family. Ryan was so smart and street wise, good-hearted and compassionate, and had the kindest smile in the world. He was incredibly handsome with beautiful blue eyes, and when he laughed you knew it must funny. He was the opposite of lazy, always lending a helping hand without even being asked, and there was nothing he wouldn't do for someone in need. But the thing he was most proud of in the world was how much he loved and lived for his babies, how much they loved him, and the magnetic bond he shared with his wife. His family was his entire life, he was their champion, and they all spent every moment together. He passed down his father's habit of silly nicknames, and all his children had their own special name just from dad. They loved to go hunting, fishing, play video games, listen to music, watch UFC, rough house, work out, play, and work on house and car projects together. Even though a tough guy, he wasn't above “playing Barbie's” with his daughter, or letting her do his hair or completely steal his heart. They all piled up and cuddled to watch movies at night, and genuinely always enjoyed being so close and together. He is proceeded in death by his father, grandparents and many friends. He is survived by his mother, his wife, his two brothers, and his 6 children and many adoring and heartbroken family and friends. Ryan was a free spirit and a force of nature, but above all, he had a beautiful soul, and love was the language of his life. That's always what it was about. The Love. Services will be held at 11 a.m. at Dahl's Funeral Home in Billings MT. Friends and family are invited to come and pay respects, or send flowers and condolences to the Traynor Family.

I don’t know if anyone will see this but this is little rat baby (Jolynn Traynor) Ryan is and always will be my favorite cuz my protector my person I knew no matter what he was there to protect me. I have so many things to say and memories to share and I cant choose just one saying it was my favorite memory cause all of them are my favorite. If I had to pick I can say this fishing and mortal kombat would be the top. Going fishing I would always have him go with us if he said no I would beg and cry and he would say ok I will go. He taught me how to catch grass hoppers for bait the day before we were going to go fishing. He would always knew I would have to see him when I came to visit. I miss my cuz so much and pray he knows I love him and know i am very sad we where not in talking terms for a long while and we didn’t get to talk before he was given his wings. I’m sorry and love you so much and miss you so much. Rip my favorite cuz you will always have a special place in my heart ♥️
