Rodney Montoya

Rodney Richard Montoya passed away on June 19th, 2021. He was born on January 12, 1991 to Daniel Rey Montoya and Tracy Rae Hinkle. He was the youngest of four children. In his free time, Rodney was an avid skateboarder, who loved creating and landing new tricks. He enjoyed listening to music and even created his own DJ name, DJ next year. Rodney loved his family including: his momma, dad and his big brothers and sister. He was fortunate to meet the love of his life, Breezelyn, who he recently asked for her hand in marriage. These two created a family of their own in 2014 when Treytn Richard was born and instantly changed their lives. Treytn was the very best piece of Rodney. Breezelyn was his best friend, mother of his child, and his adventure partner. The dynamic trio loved adventuring, hanging downtown, eating ice cream and exploring from Red Lodge to the Beartooth mountains. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Rodney, he was extremely charismatic, kind, loving and always had that big, white smile on his handsome face. He is loved so much and will be missed not only by Breezelyn and Treytn, but by so many more. Rodney is survived by his father and mother Daniel and Tracy; siblings Amanda, Dannel and Luis; his son Treytn Richard Montoya; his significant other Breezelyn Bozena Claire (his two favorite names to write); his grandparents, great grandparents, three nephews, family in New Mexico and his best friend, Jake. He will be joining his great grandpas Hinkle and Speidel. I love you Always&Always, I miss you Daddy!
