Randy Flack

Randy James Flack died on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital, Billings, Montana. Randy was born in Billings on June 2, 1977. He was the son of Jean E. (Lester) Flack and Gary James Flack. Randy spent his early childhood in the Billings area, and grew to adulthood in the Los Angeles region of southern California. He returned to Billings a number of years ago, where he resided until his death. Randy was educated in Montana and California, and he studied forestry at Feather River College in Quincy, Plumas County, California. He was interested in nature and enjoyed participating in outdoor activities. Randy had limited vision abilities his entire life, but he learned to adapt well and enjoyed an active life. Randy was friendly and kind, and he impacted many lives. He was an advocate for NAMI and Rainbow House in Billings, and believed strongly in the missions and activities of those programs. He will be missed by his co-workers at Job Connection, Inc. Randy was a wonderful son, a great brother, and a good friend. Randy is survived by his mother Jean of Livingston, Montana, and his father Gary (wife Dianne) of Laurel, Montana. Kenneth Gary Flack of Billings, his older brother and only sibling, survives him. He had extended family as well. Randy's family is planning a celebration of his life at a later date. Randy shared with his mom that he wanted his ashes spread in a peaceful forest. May his wish be someday granted.
