I have a memory of Uncle Dan talking on the phone. I think he was dealing with some shipping issue due to bad weather. I remember thinking he certainly was cool, calm and collected under pressure. His small talk was never “small” and I always thought, “where does he store all this information?” He will be missed

Dan was my Uncle, and he married my favorite aunt, Becky. We saw each other rarely over the years on annual visits, and Dan always treated me with respect, generosity and good humor. He always knew he had won the lottery when he married Becky.

This is a memory from Hank Webster : Dan showed the Beartooth mountains to us and Pat and I knew we wanted to retire in Montana! Dan and Becky also graciously insisted we stay with them at their home during the building of our house. Pat loved having that time with her sister Becky. We sure enjoyed the hospitality.

I remember my Uncle Dan as a happy person who enjoyed his visits with family and was always a very gracious host. I enjoyed talking to him about hikes in the Beartooth Mountains. Sioux Charlie lake was one he recommended. I was very impressed with the beauty of that place! Dan will be missed by many.
