Leslie Ruff

Leslie Gene Ruff passed away at home in Custer, Montana on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021. He was born on July 21st, 1951 in Billings, Montana. He is the son of Joseph Ruff and Lillian Ruff of Custer, MT, and his siblings are Gary Ruff of Custer, MT, Vonnie Herbst of Billings, MT, and Scott Ruff of Custer, MT. Les settled on the Ruff family's farm and ranch in 1975 and married Kathleen Anne Perrin of Custer. They have three children- Jeremy Ruff of Billings, MT, Randi Lee Tunnell of Bigfork, MT, and Casey Ruff of Ballard, Washington. Les was an active member of the Custer Chapter of QRU first responders; a Custer Volunteer Fire Department chief; a member of the Junction City Jaycees; a Custer Congregationalist; a vital founder of the Junction City Memorial Park; an aviator with The Quiet Birdmen; and a devout riverman. He was fond of spicy meals, the Beach Boys and Creedence Clearwater Revival, rodeos and Western movies, nature, questionable fashion, classic literature, get-rich-quick schemes, and haggling. Amongst the aforementioned family, he is survived by Jeremy's spouse Kendra Ruff and their children Hazen Jo and Cameron Casey; Randi's spouse Adam Tunnell and their children Fletcher Miles, Phineas Parker, Ferguson Townes, and Farlow Baker; Casey's Lover Prime is Amy Jo Kennedy- and they are all the children they need.
