Obituary
Eileen Mary Brown—loving mother, grandmother, nurse, and bon vivant—passed away peacefully in her home on Monday the 21st of November. Eileen was born November 14, 1928 in Anaconda Montana, the only child of Daniel and Anne Bryne. Eileen married William Brown on September 12, 1953. Eileen had a long and successful career as a registered nurse, simultaneously raising five children. She continued to be active in her retirement, taking courses at MSU Billings, enjoying her grandchildren and great-children and volunteering at a local veterans' clinic. She and Bill enjoyed traveling anywhere they could, including Australia and Ireland. Eileen is survived by many loving family members and friends. Her children and their spouses are: Leanne Goldhahn (Alan), Cathryn Amdahl (Mark), Dan Brown (Jan), Barbara Brown, and Patty Contreraz (Henry). Eileen was also a devoted grandmother to Bridget Brown, Brian Teeters (Jen), Ryan Goldhahn (Guilana Pallota), Flannery Amdahl, Katie Goldhahn, Nathan Brown, Jordan Brown, Angie Brown, and Tyler Contreraz. Eileen had two beloved great-grandchildren—Emilie and Andrew Teeters—with another great-grandchild on the way. We'll all remember her as caring, generous, and filled with joy. Memorial services will be held at 10a.m. Saturday, November the 26th, at Mary Queen of Peace, 3411 3rd Ave. S, Billings, MT. I met Eileen 45 years ago when I was a young Police Officer who had just returned from Vietnam. She would call me up to the hospital to wrassle her rowdies for her and then we would sit and have coffee and visit. Recently, she volunteered at the VA and we were able to visit again. She was one of the most down to earth people I knew and was able to always make every at ease when she was there. Eileen's passing is truly a loss of a good friend. Ernie L. Flynn Sr.

She was a very sweet and kind lady. She worked with my mom Shirley at Genes Pharmacy. It is never easy to lose a parent. Grief is not a sign of weakness nor is it a loss of faith.
