We are so very sorry for your loss. We found out yesterday when we went to Bullman’s. We shared a common bound with Drew as our son lost his eye when he was young. We helped put Drew at ease. He will be so missed!! He knew us by name and always was concerned if we missed our Saturday pizza. We are still in shock but know that Drew is pain free and whole again. Ann and Ken Aplin.

I want people to know that Drew was truly loved by his friends in Denver. He never met a stranger. If someone was in need of a place to stay or food, he would always share. Several our friends crashed on his couch while they were in between jobs. The guy had so many friends that he could make a few phone calls and have a packed house within a half hour. He also absolutely adored his family. I feel like I know them without ever meeting. His mother, father and grandparents were what sustained him when things weren’t going so great. He often talked about wanting to live long enough to take care of the people who took care of him. If I had to share one single memory, it would be him dancing in the mirror in our bathroom. The guy literally wore holes in my bathroom mats. I can’t believe he’s gone. His voice and laugh still echo through my brain as if he was still here. We will never forget him. I wish your family comfort and peace during these crazy times. I speak for all of us when I say he was truly like a brother. I’d give anything to rewind my life back to when Drew first moved here. We didn’t have a care in the world and it was beautiful. If you ever need to reach out, my address is firstname.lastname@gmail.com With a heavy heart and a mind full of regrets, Jonathon Wade

I am saddened and shocked to hear the news. Please accept my condolences, I am truly sorry for your loss. My thoughts will be with the Wagner family as they mourn the loss. I met Drew as a young man. Both of us on the same journey to find our place in the world, moving away from our families and heading to Denver CO to attend college. With Drew's smile and sense of humor I was immediately drawn to him and always had fun when we were together. We lived together for a few years but remained friends afterward. Even as life took us different directions and we drifted apart; we could always pick up where we left off when we saw each other. I will never forget all the laughs and great experiences I shared with Drew. Rest in peace friend.

I met Drew in college, we bonded as he was from Hardin and I grew up in Billings, he was a kindest of souls who always had nothing but love for those he met and would give you shirt off his back if you asked for it. While he hadn’t seen each other in awhile I still know that I could call him if I needed. Love you friend and please rest in peace.
